Questions & Answers

  • How would you describe your approach to photographing weddings?

My approach is calm, intentional, and editorial. I work with a refined balance of thoughtful direction and quiet observation, allowing moments to unfold naturally while being composed with care, rhythm, and emotion. The result is imagery that feels effortless, elevated, and timeless.

  • Do you give direction during the day?

Yes, gently and with purpose. I offer clear, calm guidance when needed, particularly during portraits and key moments, while allowing space for genuine interactions to happen organically. My goal is for you to feel present, confident, and at ease throughout the day.

  • What does it feel like to work together?

Working together is relaxed, organized, and intentional. I prioritize thoughtful pacing, clear communication, and a steady presence, so you never feel rushed or overwhelmed. Couples often describe the experience as seamless and reassuring.

  • Do you photograph destination and multi-day weddings?

Yes. I regularly photograph weddings that span multiple days, locations, or destinations. Whether in New York City or abroad, I approach each celebration with the same attention to detail, continuity, and storytelling, ensuring the full experience is documented cohesively.

  • What is your turnaround time?

Couples receive a carefully edited full gallery within 10 days of the wedding. This allows the experience to be revisited and shared while the celebration still feels immediate, without compromising on consistency or attention to detail.

  • Do you work with planners and venues?

Absolutely. I collaborate closely with planners, designers, and venues to ensure a seamless experience and cohesive visual outcome. Clear communication and mutual respect are essential to creating photographs that reflect the full intention of the celebration.

  • How far in advance should we inquire?

Most couples reach out as soon as their date and venue are confirmed. I photograph a limited number of weddings each year, so availability can be selective, particularly for peak dates and destination events.

  • How do couples typically book you?

After an initial inquiry, we connect to discuss your plans, priorities, and overall vision. From there, I share a tailored proposal and guide you through the booking process in a clear, straightforward way.

  • Do you photograph weddings beyond New York City?

Yes. I am based in New York City and available worldwide for a select number of celebrations each year.

  • Are engagement sessions included in any of your collections?

Engagement sessions are not automatically included, but they can be added thoughtfully to any collection. Many couples choose to include one as a relaxed way to become comfortable in front of the camera and to create imagery that reflects this season of their lives.

  • What is your pricing?

Collections are thoughtfully tailored to each celebration and begin at $10,000. Every proposal is shaped around the scope, location, and rhythm of the wedding, ensuring a considered and cohesive experience from start to finish.

  • Have you ever photographed a wedding at our ceremony and reception venues? If not, do you plan to check the venues out in advance?

I’ve photographed weddings across a wide range of venues, from historic landmarks to private estates and destination locations. While familiarity with a space is always helpful, my approach prioritizes light, flow, and experience rather than relying on repetition.

When working at a new venue, I take the time to review the layout, understand the schedule, and collaborate with planners and teams in advance to ensure a seamless, well-considered photographic approach.
